Crispy Baked Coconut Shrimps with Orange Sauce

Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
230 gr Shrimps
2 Egg whites
30 gr Shredded coconut 30 gr is a little bit less than 1 cup
20 gr Sesame seeds
1 pinch Chili powder
2 pinches Sea salt
For Orange Sauce:
2 tbsp Mustard
30 ml Orange juice
30 ml Coconut water

Crispy Baked Coconut Shrimps with Orange Sauce

In a bowl mix all together shredded coconut, sesame seeds, chili powder and sea salt. Whisk egg whites with a pinch of salt until slightly foamy. Dip each shrimp into egg whites first, shaking of the excess. Then cover shrimps in the spiced up coconut pressing well to be sure the cover is even. Place your shrimps on an oven tray with a layer of parchment. Bake at 190 °C for 20 min.

While the  shrimps are in the oven prepare orange dipping sauce which is super easy. Mix mustard, orange juice and coconut water, whisk them till perfectly combined. Ready!

When your the shrimps crisp up and golden brown take them out of the oven and serve with the orange sauce and beautiful veggie salad.
